Health and Safety Policy Statement
Our objective is to minimise harm to persons and property, In line with the Health and Safety at Work Act etc. Act 1974, by adopting a proactive approach to effective risk and safety management. All work is carried out, where possible, in accordance with best practice, so that all reasonably practicable measures are taken to avoid risk to employees or others that may be affected. Health and Safety are never compromised over other objectives.
The Company will fully comply with the duties placed upon it within the requirements of legislation and customer requirements.
To provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities
To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment.
To ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees and others
To seek the full co-operation and support of all employees
To communicate with all appropriate personnel regarding health and safety
To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health andsafety.
To ensure safe handling and use of substances.
To provide information, instruction, and supervision foremployees.
To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training.
To prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health:
To maintain safe and healthy working conditions
To regularly review, develop and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.
The company will ensure that this policy and its objectives are understood, implemented and maintained. This will be achieved by the progressive development of the health and safety management system and by auditing to ensure adequacy, effectiveness and compliance.
